My technological memories
I didn't grow up on
computers, I didn't even know the Internet. I grew up with a typewriter, pen
and broadband notebooks. It was at the beginning of my university studies when
I discovered the potential of the computer and all the possibilities it offers.
Then came the era of the Cyberspace, and since it came about as a result of analog education and nothing digital, it was a novelty for people of my generation who hadn't even seen the world of new technologies.
Like all new knowledge, at first you see it difficult, difficult and even impossible, but over time you learn, adapt and even perceive it as entertainment, because it makes your life much easier.
New technologies advance and so do we
Everything moves, nothing is static, therefore, women who grew up in a world without computers and new technologies, we must adapt to changes and move forward to achieve our personal and professional goals in the 21st century.
More and more technology tools are emerging today. They evolve every year and quickly, so we must overcome the fear of knowing them, using them and adapting them to our needs.
We cannot stay in the technological comfort
zone and tell ourselves:
"I have already learned these two steps (on and off) and I am not doing it anymore."
"I am pleased that I know the basics of
working with computers and the Internet."
“I don’t know how to deal with these new
instruments, I’m from a different era, and I’m even worse.
"My kids have more skills for new
technologies, let them do it for me."
Here are the various fears associated with
learning new tools, some of which are:
Fear of failure, mistakes and mistakes.
Fear of risk and suffering.
Fear of the unknown, new and different.
Fear of changing old habits and getting out of
your comfort zone.
Fear of recognizing your personal strengths
and abilities.
Fear of building new goals in life.
Fear of success and building a different
lifestyle.
Fear of fear ... And then there is the sum of fears ... which will lead nowhere.
Moreover, they force you to: harden your life, waste vitality, destroy your self-confidence, and remain immersed in defeat, anger, rage and constant frustration.
So say no to your fears and dare to discover the valuable technological tools you have at your disposal to achieve your dreams. "
